Bought some arts & crafts foam and drew these landscapes in black permanent marker. It looks surprisingly good. I was even able to get familiar enough with the sharpie to do gradations. Whod have thought you can make shades of grey with that thing?

This one's a landscape of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where I have never been, but believe I have created a pretty realistic depiction of. It looks exactly like the New Jersey coastline where we went to swim in the summer.
