Christmas 2012 gifts

Bought some arts & crafts foam and drew these landscapes in black permanent marker. It looks surprisingly good. I was even able to get familiar enough with the sharpie to do gradations. Whod have thought you can make shades of grey with that thing?

This is a semi-realistic portrait of Hilo Bay on the Big Island of Hawaii. By request for Abram Gonik

This one's a landscape of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where I have never been, but believe I have created a pretty realistic depiction of. It looks exactly like the New Jersey coastline where we went to swim in the summer.

After a friend gave me some tips on photoshop I decided to draw Alice :D!

Kim Noveau

A while ago Kim posted this photo from one of her concerts. She had asked people to make no recordings of the show, and this was the only picture snapped before that announcement. And this one blurry image captured my imagination. First I did a sketch, and then improved the layout, textures, colors, lines, etc. This art style is so detailed, I wonder how Alphonse Mucha didn't go mad.
The pic at the bottom is not the final yet, I still have improvements to do. Especially that pink fire...it's just killing me - I like it but I also hate it.

This little banner was my entry into a contest. I still think I shoulda won, but they went with something cute instead of glamorous like mine. Go figure, an anime website liking Cute stuff  ;P

Um this fine comic which I present to you below was a collaboration of Viki (Art), and then-12-yr-old Ruslan (story). Also I feel like the whole thing borrows from "Courage The Cowardly Dog" a Lot. Thanks Courage, I'll thank you when I get my Oscar, or whatever they give for comics.
